"Final Choices"
"It's time for all people to return to Me
For soon you will face eternity.
Time is short. Night draws nigh.
Many souls will emit a woeful cry!
So many choose not to obey.
Sin worsens day by day.
Sins of the flesh consume your heart
Pushing us farther and farther apart.
People are hungry for money and praise,
Buying and hoarding things that they crave,
While turning away from God and His Son
Acting so smug to impress everyone.
Woe to all sinners who act in the night.
Soon I'll expose your sins in the light!
Far from your God you cannot hide
But your residence will be at Satan's side.
Instead of accepting Heaven's sweet kiss
Sinners choose Satan's eternal abyss
They sell their souls for a moment of fun
Removed forever from God and His Son.
Is your pleasure worth the measure
To loose your souls greatest treasure?
Or will you forfeit sin and pride
To spend eternity at My side?

"The Greatest Prayer"
"You go where I say
And do as I do
Healing so many,
Converting them too.
Offer your pain
In silence to Me
And hang all your suffering
On Redemption's Great Tree.
With your help and others
Who suffer with Me
There'll be fewer souls
Lost eternally.
Look at dear Bernadette
And Padre Pio too;
Become humble and saintly
As you suffer through.
Heaven's the rose
Thorns are the stairs,
Climb on in love
Making each step a prayer.
It takes suffering and prayer
To aid others through life
And the greatest of prayers
Is your suffering and strife."

"A Land Far Away"
"In a land far away
Where Saints and Angels pray
For God's people who dwell here on the
earth.
And where praises are sung
To God and His Son
'tis where peace and happiness reign.
So I'll strive to live better each day
'Till finally I follow His way,
Then in Heaven one day I'll reside
And forever sing praise at His side.
Now I'll banish each tear
Knowing God's always near
And my burdens will not keep me down
For I'll pray night and day
Near His Heart I will stay
While His peace will reside in my heart
So I'll carry my cross with a smile
Knowing God protects all the while
Then I'll surrender and trust all my days
'Till in Heaven I'll sing songs of praise.
Lord I ask for Your help
For my sinful self
For wisdom and strength do I need
And I wish to praise You
In all that I do
So I beg for Your mercy each day
And I'm sorry I hurt You through sin
I beg Your Dear Spirit, 'come in'
And fill me with strength each new day
Till we meet in that land far away."

"Keep Hope"
"Keep your hope when there is no light.
Await the morning in the darkest night.
When there seems no end to your troublesome plight;
Keep hope in your heart.
When the storm clouds gather one by one
Obliterating the last glimpse of the sun
And your heart grows tense as evening comes;
Keep hope in your heart.
When alone in the desert and parched by the sun,
Neglected and shunned by everyone,
Remember through Christ all battles are won;
Keep hope in your heart.
For nothing's too great for the conquering Lord.
May He always be praised, honored, adored.
The rainbow's end is Heaven's door;
Keep hope in your heart."

“A New Beginning”
“A new life is born in me today
Each thought, each word, each deed I do
Will change my life and humble me
That I might better follow You.
The night of my life is over,
A new day is beginning to dawn
As I gain strength from the sins of my past
Allowing My Lord to lead me on.
A new excitement I feel in my heart
Bringing peace and serenity like I’ve never known
Proving again God’s forgiveness and love
Giving a glimpse of my Eternal home.
My heart and soul are ecstatic
As the Son brings light to this day
Filling my being with His peace and joy
While gently I’m led in His way.
The hurts of my past are behind me
While the road ahead is so bright;
My rejections, regrets, tensions and fears He takes
And my spirit soars from a burden made light.
Each day is a new beginning
If I give Him each thought, word and deed
Remaining submissive, humble and obedient
Allowing My Master to nurture my seed.
Taking each moment, just one at a time,
For even a day is too much for me;
Clinging to Jesus – lest I should fall;
Imploring His assistance eternally.
Oh what a wonderful life awaits me
My glorious God’s so forgiving
I open my eyes, lift up my head
Today my life’s just beginning.”

“A Calling”
“Sit with me a moment
Let all daily torment cease
Come to Me for a little while
And I’ll fill your heart with peace.
Bring to Me your burdens
That push all quiet aside
Converse with Me in silent prayers
While you and I as one abide.
Is there some thing from your life past
On which you constantly dwell?
Won’t you share your heavy load with Me
For I alone can heal and make you well.
What keeps you from abandoning yourself
Entirely to My care?
You will get to know Me better
If you’ll speak to Me in daily prayer.
I know the cross you carry,
But you need not walk alone
You will find His loving forgiveness
By humbly kneeling at Our Father’s throne.
Tell Me dear, what are your needs?
For what does your heart crave?
Oh, you poor little ignorant child
I, your Savior, was born in Bethlehem’s
cave.
Sit back quietly, close your eyes;
Empty your mind of all your care
Meditate, concentrate on Me, Your Lord,
While I take your heart to My Manger there.
Here I lie, a poor helpless Babe
Dependent on Father and Mother.
Humble yourself, be as a child
Surrender yourself to Me, your Savior and
Brother.”

“Come to the Manger”
“Many thousands of years ago,
When the earth was fairly new,
God created Adam and Eve
To be the parents of me and you.
But our parents in their weakness
Were tempted by sin and they fell,
So God promised a Messiah
To be born in the house of Israel.
Many, many more years went by
God’s words were so often said
Be still, God’s Son is coming
You’ll find Him in a small manger bed.
So Mary and Joseph are married
A child is on the way,
But they must be off to Bethlehem
For they have taxes to pay.
The house and shop are closed up tight,
A donkey prepared for the journey
Some clothing and food is made ready
Their hearts are full of all worry.
For days and nights they travel
The journey soon comes to an end
They seek some shelter and food
As they enter the town of Bethlehem.
The inns are all so crowded
They find no place to stay
Finally they see a stable
Filled with clean, sweet hay.
Joseph and Mary prepare some room
The donkey is watered and fed
A few pieces of cloth are laid out
And a manger becomes a bed.
A Son is born to Mary
God looks down from on high,
Angels sing alleluia
A bright star lights the sky.
The animals come to see the sight,
They close in around the Child,
Giving warmth and love by their presence,
The newborn Baby reached out and smiled.
The animals hover around the manger,
Where safely the Child’s been laid.
Joseph and Mary are filled with joy
As they look upon their Holy Babe.
The parents then look toward Heaven
To give praise and thanks to their God.
Yet their hearts are heavily burdened
For they know the path they must trod.
The Heavens are filled with music,
And the shepherds see the light.
They follow it into town
To witness the Heavenly sight.
The star continues to shine
And guide Wise Men through the night.
They stop at Herod’s court
Then abruptly change their flight.
When finally they reach the stable,
With gifts so costly and rare,
Their joy is overwhelming
For they see their Savior lying there.
Down through hundreds of centuries
This story has been retold
Of the birth of the Baby Jesus
On a night that was lonely and cold.
Each year we celebrate his birth
As a hunger for love fills our hearts.
We feel the need to help one another
Through the gift of peace He imparts.
Let us go again to the manger
But not for just one day each year,
Receiving the gift the Child King gives
As we open our hearts and stay near.
Let us bow down in adoration
At the foot of His manger, so sweet
Promising to always honor Him
While humbly kneeling at the Savior’s feet.
Come, come to the manger
Follow His star shining always so bright
Adoring and honoring Christ our King
As was done on that first Christmas night.”

“Acceptance”
“Because you’ve vowed to follow Me
And take an absolute stand
Those who are closest to you
Will jeer – not understand.
They’ll look upon your past life
And be filled with disdain
While questions by the thousands
They’ll be asking in My Name.
Expect no help from them, dear child
Instead they’ll be pernicious
But I promise to keep you near My Heart
When words and actions become malicious.
Their speech will often be harsh and mean
Sometimes, they’ll be unkind
For in you they witness peace and joy
As you reach lovingly to all mankind.
They’ll often judge you simple
Strange, fanatical, not one of their kind
This is because they’re empty and cold
Searching for love, acceptance and peace of mind.
All holidays find them bitter
Anger and hate fill their hearts
For they haven’t accepted Jesus, their Savior
And felt the peace and love He imparts.
Pray for all people to return to Me
Make sacrifices and do kindly deeds
Be gentle, humble and consoling
Direct them in the way My Spirit leads.
There is nothing you can do to help them
They’re stubborn and set in their ways
But only through persistent, unfailing love
Will they begin to hear the Words that I say.
I allow these things to happen to you
The reason should be quite clear
I test your loyalty and steadfastness
And strengthen your love; repel your fear.
Do not be angry. Don’t get upset.
Remain happy, faithful and true
For when those less fortunate become excited
It’s because they see Me in you.”

"Come My Child"
"Come and sit with Me My child.
Submit to Me your entire will.
Come listen to Me a while
And let your thoughts be still.
Come open your heart dear child.
Let My peace and love abide.
Rid yourself of all debris.
Beckon Me---live inside.
Come and walk with Me My child.
Though the path be narrow and steep,
Reach out in love and joy
As you minister to My sheep.
Come, touch someone for Me dear child.
Be kind to My children both far and near.
Feed, clothe and serve each one
That through your service My words they'll hear.
I need true disciples
To continue My work on earth.
For this I've called you My child
From the moment of your birth.
Will you accept this calling?
Will you live your life for Me?
Will you witness to My people
And serve them faithfully?
Can I depend on you dear child?
Be certain before you agree.
For if your answer's affirmative;
I promise you bliss eternally."

"Lord, Help Us Today"
"Oh Lord, we come to be with You
Joyful, jubilant, expecting
To find happiness and peace
While in Your presence meditating.
But Lord, loneliness and fear abound
And in darkness again we reside
We're burdened with cares and woes
Leaving the safety of Your side.
It's sinful the way some people act
Taking the law in their hands
Killing and stealing and using Your name
Ruthlessly shunning all Your commands.
Infants are killed by the thousands each day
By people who want to be free
While they doom their souls to the fires of hell
There to remain eternally.
Children are battered, hungry and cold
Left unattended all day
While parents work and seek
Prestige, status and high pay.
There is no pride nor self-respect
From responsibility and love we hide
Clinging to drugs and alcohol
Retreating further from Your side.
Recklessness and unconcern
We witness every day
Seeing little animals abandoned or hurt
And left to die along the way.
It just doesn't seem to be fair
That some are so richly blessed
While others struggle for food and shelter
Seeking some time just to find rest.
Rejected, forgotten, behind closed doors
Are our elderly and lame
To live and die in loneliness
They are treated with disdain.
Some people are so lazy, Lord
From work they turn their backs,
They'd so much rather take a nap
For they're tired and must relax.
They expect the Government, families and friends
To provide for their daily needs
Our taxes are high; our bodies exhausted
But no hand is offered to do a kind deed.
You've told us that the wage of sin is death
Still we don't listen to You
So we're afflicted with illness and strife
And blame our anxiety on You.
When will our hearts be loving?
When will our ears truly hear?
When will all people obey You
Disbursing all wars, hunger and fear?
When will we stop being possessed
Of all hatred, pride and greed?
When will we live as brothers
Lovingly helping all those in need?
When will our children have love and respect?
When will their ears be opened to You?
When will they abandon false precepts
And walk the road back to You?
Let us take time to gaze at Your face
There too is agony and pain
If we're searching for joy on earth
Our lives are truly in vain.
Lord, we live in a world of sin and hate
Please, give us courage to pray
And seek Your strength in our daily trials
Dear Lord, help us today."

"My True Love"
"When I wake in the morning,
You are there.
When I go to sleep at night,
You are beside me.
As I do my chores through the day,
You give me strength.
When I feel all alone and rejected,
You touch my heart.
When I'm sad or feeling ill,
You console me.
When I've disobeyed or rejected You,
You forgive me.
When I stray from Your side,
You direct me.
When I need to share my deepest thoughts,
You always listen.
When I'm joyful and happy,
You share my glee.
When I'm lost and angry,
You comfort me.
When I reach out to You,
You embrace me.
When I'm hungry and thirsty,
You feed me.
When I'm in material need,
You provide.
How can I thank you or ever repay You, my
True Love,
for all You give to me? Although I try
to be dutiful,
I fail miserably each day. My desire is
to make You happy
by following Your decrees all the days
of my life. By my
constant sharing with You and listening
to You, our
communication and openness assures me of
an ever brighter
tomorrow. Forgive me, My Beloved, my neglectfulness,
my anger,
my lack of trust, and my constant impatience.
Continue to guide me,
to encourage me, to teach me, to protect
me for I rely on Your
great strength. I hesitate to make any
decision without Your consent.
I never want to be separated from You,
My Love. As You hold me today,
allow me to remain near You, forever in
Your presence eternally."

“Wonderment”
“Have you ever marveled
When at the close of day,
At all the trials surmounted
As you sit quiet to pray?
Have you ever felt the sun’s
Warmth upon the earth,
And danced among the flowers
In gayety and mirth?
Have you ever reminisced
On life some years ago,
Seeing how all dreams changed
As your body and spirit did grow?
Have you ever sat and pondered
As how things ought to be,
Only to discover
It’s better left to Me?
Have you ever said a prayer
In an anxious, troubled time,
While your heart in complete surrender
Unites your cross with Mine?
Have you ever sat so quietly
That you hear a voice within,
Directing and strengthening you
To turn away from sin?
Have you ever taken time
To hear another’s plea,
And that through your concern
You’ve both grown closer to Me?
Have you ever watched a bird
Wing freely through the air,
Knowing
When you give Me every care?
Oh My precious little one
What wonders you can see
When you renounce the world and sin
And live only in Me.”

“Angels”
“Angels were created for God and man
Oh, what a magnificent part they play,
Singing praises to God forever
While guiding and protecting man each day.
From their very creation, they’ve been with God
Protecting Heaven’s portals
Acting together as a powerful army,
Lovingly guiding us mortals.
With voices raised in unison,
Singing praises to God our King,
Being the bearers of the Father’s news
What joyful message they bring.
Lovingly appearing to Mary, our Mother,
Guiding dear Joseph through his life,
Their obedient protection is with us
Fighting our battles of daily strife.
The news of the Messiah they herald
To all nations centuries ago.
Hosanna to earth’s own Savior
Born to save sinners here below.
Rejoice and unite with the Angels
Singing always praises to God
Lift up your heart and be merry
And walk only where Angels trod.”

"Growing"
"When two hearts in love combine
And your free will becomes totally Mine
When in the darkness you call out
Seeking strength while shunning doubt
When on your back and feeling ill
You speak to Me, your thoughts are still
When all alone, depressed and anxious
You listen to Me and beg forgiveness
When loved ones seem so far and distant
You empty your soul in just that instant
When daily chores all go wrong
And in your heart you whisper a song
When in a world of death through sin
You beckon My Light - come quickly in
When people insult you because of Me
And you pray a prayer so joyfully
When you see people who have no faith
Tears of sorrow stream down your face
When you hear birdsong and see the sun
You know My work in love was done
When you see the stars and moon at night
Your soul leaps in pure delight
When creations grandeur swells your heart
You acknowledge Me in every part
When you witness Me in each hour of the day
Believing and striving along the way
When your heart and soul in Me unite
You detest darkness, seeking Light
When your life with Me begins to show
Then in My Spirit you've begun to grow."

"Pierced"
"Look into My eyes
See the sadness there,
Born of sins that men commit
And witness the crown I wear.
In the Garden of Gethsemane
I gave forth blood and tears.
My Heart was totally racked
As I looked through the years.
Oh, how people scorned Me,
Hearts turned cold as stone
Understanding nothing done for them.
Turning against their very own.
My Body they tore to shreds
A man they no longer did see;
Still they laughed and mocked
While throwing to Me a tree.
My limbs pulled out of joint;
A crown forced onto My Head
I walked the path to Calvary--
What a brutal path I tread!
Finally nailed upon the tree
They pierced again My Heart
Until the water finally came;
From the world I would depart.
Three days spent in darkness
While the tomb enveloped Me.
Yearning for you to understand
I lived and died for humanity."

"Offerings"
"Offer Me your crosses
Each and every day
For all My precious people
Who have gone astray.
Offer Me your burdens
That daily weigh you down
Position them around your heart
As I also wear My crown.
Offer Me your sorrows
Those hurts so deep within
Join your hurts with Mine
For a world lost in sin.
Offer Me the trials
That cross your path each day
Ask Me for abundant strength
To guide you on your way.
Offer Me your illness
While you learn to persevere
Making this your love offering
Be determined not to fear.
Offer Me the hurts
That pierce your tender heart
Unite your sacrifice with Mine
While in My sufferings you take part.
Offer me your past
And all that's held you bound
Through suffering I've cleaned you
True peace may now be found."

"Dependent"
Take note of the trees, my little one
The mighty oak bends to and fro,
It is flexible
The way you must grow.
Others are tall and brittle
With an inability to sway
They are incapable of give and take
And during storms, will break away.
Each begins its life as a seed
And is totally dependent on Me
It does not go to another for help
For its faith is rooted as deep as the tree.
As they look to the sun
They grow strong and tall
Let this parable in trees
Be a lesson for all.

"My Commitment"
"I have finally made a commitment
To follow You, my Lord
I give You my heart, my mind, my all
I cannot turn back.
My heart is pounding in my breast
Peace has come at last
I look to a future of serving You
Total obedience.
I look with happy anticipation
To my closer walk with You.
I want to be subject to My King
Forever doing Your Holy Will.
I give You my mind and all my thoughts
May they ever be pure and kind
Take my actions and all my words
Let others see You in me.
Unite all my crosses with Your cross
In prayer I lift my daily strife
Humbly I ask You to accept this
As my love offering for sinners.
Help me to empty myself completely
Let me love all but covet nothing.
Oh, that I might see You in everything
I have sinned Lord, forgive me.
Father, Son and Spirit, I adore You, strengthen
me.
Mary and Joseph, I love You, intercede
for me.
St. Michael and my Guardian Angel, protect
me in battle.
This is my prayer."

"Beware"
You raise your hands toward Heaven
Your mouth emits my praise
While your heart is cold and doubtful
And jealousy fills your days.
You're so much more intelligent
Than those who came today
You give all the teaching
While they just sit and pray.
You know all the proper prayers
And read My word each day
But never have you listened
To the words I have to say.
You reject the humble person
Who reaches out to me
They're too quiet and unassuming
For you to ever see.
You don't accept My mother
And Joseph, you avoid
You claim to walk beside Me
But your acts are null and void.
Your tongue's a two-edged sword
An empty vessel in your heart
You are not My dear disciple
For my love you don't impart.
Your sin is boastful pride
And envy fills your heart
You have not come back to Me
Your sins keep us apart.
You must imitate My mother
And walk each step with Me
Repent for all your sins
Bring your cross to Calvary.
You must have the faith of Joseph
Believing what you say:
My will be done in Heaven
And on earth every day.
You must humble yourself now
By acts of love and prayer
Reaching out to everyone
And prove to Me you care.
Oh, you two-faced hypocrite
Pretending to be like Me
While your daily acts of self-conceit
Could doom your soul eternally.

My Mother - your Mother
Will bring you to Me
If only you will ask her
In loving humility.
My Mother - your Mother
Will gladly show the way
Just imitate all she's done
Striving day by day.
My Mother - your Mother
Is humble, loving and kind
I tell you to honor her
She's the mother of all mankind.
My Mother - your Mother
Deserves your greatest respect
She the spouse of the Holy Spirit
Her lineage with God is direct.
My Mother - your Mother
Will intercede for you
Honor her immaculate heart
For her heart's pierced daily too.
My Mother - your Mother
Is God's most spotless child
For you to truly love Me
Come through our Mother - mild.

”A Hug”
“There’s something oh so special
When you open out your arms
Beckoning me to come
Into your embrace.
There’s a quickening of the heartbeat
And a feeling that’s so warm.
I’m flooded and overwhelmed
By your true love.
There’s a certain magic
When your eyes look into mine
The soul shines and smiles
In truth and honesty.
There’s a powerful desire
To want to run
No distance is too far
To unite two lovers.
There’s a Blessed Spirit
That joins two hearts
A desire to be together
In life or death.
There’s no love song
Written or unwritten
It can never be composed
That will truly express our love.
Hug me, my Beloved
Look deep into my eyes
Hear the quickening of my heart
As we run to meet.
Embrace me, Loving Spirit
On earth hold me close
In the hereafter
Love songs will consume our time.
Without your love
There is nothing
Lo life, only death
Lo future, my abandonment.
Keep me ever in your arms
Envelope me in your hug
As our eyes see only the soul
And its eternal flame.”

”Family”
“The Spirit of God Almighty
Fluttered down towards earth
Entering the body of Mary
To perform the Virgin Birth
An angel visited Joseph,
A carpenter so humble and wise
Asking him to protect
Heaven’s most valuable prize.
Both humans accepted the challenge
Entering into God’s plan
The long awaited Messiah
Was about to become a man.
The birth took place in Bethlehem
Many miles from home
With only animals to welcome Him
And a manger became a throne.
Then off to Egypt they did flee,
In the darkness of the night.
To escape Herod’s order
“Kill each male child in sight.”
There they lived in exile
With love and hope in their hearts
Until God’s angel told Joseph
For home they should depart.
The carpenter shop was opened
As Joseph worked each day
To provide his holy family
Through his honest daily pay.
Mary kept their little home,
A sanctuary of peace and love
And the Heavenly Father protected them
From His residence above.
Here the perfect family
Grew in wisdom and in grace
Until the time that Jesus
Would take His earthly place.
Their love was strong and binding,
A oneness rooted in God.
An example for us to follow
As through our life we trod.”

"Why"
”Why are you afraid My child
To give yourself to Me?
Why do you carry your fears and hurts
And suffer needlessly?
Why won't you accept the Love
My Son laid down for you?
Why do you seek answers
When all I teach is true?
Why is it you covet
Costly, earthly things?
Why not store up treasures
That only My Spirit brings?
Why can you not find some time
To talk with Me each day?
Why are you distracted
By what mere humans say?
Why is your heart so troubled
When you witness pain and strife?
Why can you not accept
This growth for Eternal Life?
Why is each day a burden
When so much is given you?
Why instead, not come to Me
As I reach out to you?
Why turn from Me in anger
When things don't go your way?
Why not use this time instead
To seek My Will and pray?
Why not reach out in love
To every one you meet?
Why not bring your burdens
And place them at My Feet?
Why not strive to do My Will?
For my peace is found there in
Why not seek forgiveness and strength
To turn away from sin?
Why not give yourself to Me
Your heart, your mind, your soul?
Why not surrender your all to Me
And let Me make you whole?”

"Your Decision"
"Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Or will you run and hide?
You see, the cross I carry
Has all your sins inside.
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Or will you only stare?---
Wondering why any human
Will so much torture bear?
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Will you offer Me a hand?
Or will you only watch Me fall
Filling open wounds with grit and sand?
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Will you wipe My blood-stained face?
Will you offer Me some kindness
As I fill your soul with grace?
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Will My crown be your disgrace?
Or will you feel a pang of sorrow
And see the love upon My face?
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Will you nail Me on a tree?
Or will you hear the words I speak
"I forgive" and "I love thee?"
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Will you let My Heart be pierced again?
Or will you show compassion
And turn away from sin?
Will you walk with Me to Calvary?
Will you stand beneath My Cross?
Or will you only turn away
And let your soul be lost?"

"The Storms of Life"
"Turbulent waters are crashing,
Black clouds hover above,
Winds of great force are howling.
Threatening all that you love.
Rain pours down in torrents,
Lightening fills the sky,
The earth abounds in darkness
While for shelter all creatures fly.
The evil that clinches your heart,
The clouds that hover above
Are a test of your stability---
In gloom is it Me you love?
The rain is the tears of your soul.
The lightening; a glimpse in the dark.
When the storms of your life are present.,
Do you run, hide and depart?
As the earth is nourished by rain
And the wind blows away all debris,
The storms of life will strengthen you
And bring you closer to Me.
You are tried, My beloved, each day
By the storms I allow in your life,
But by your constant steadfastness
The SON will disperse all strife."

"His Life"
"Peace, joy, love and hope
Come to life one day
In the Name of Jesus Christ the Lord,
In Bethlehem, far away.
Born to Mary and to Joseph
On a cold, wintry night
While a star shone brightly in the sky
To guide the Wisemen on their flight.
From boy to manhood He did grow
While subject to another;
This God-man grew obediently.
Preparing His Life for others.
For three short years He traveled;
Healing, teaching, doing God's Will,
That men of all nations should know Him
And follow daily to Calvary's hill.
Here mortal life was terminated,
His humanness silenced and stilled.
While love for all men was accomplished
Through the Son that was 'born to be killed!'
His Life reflects brotherly love.
Through death He opened Heaven above.
His eyes, His face, His whole countenance
Reflects sweet, suffering, agonizing Love."

"Abide With Me"
"Your pain and sorrow will depart
When you let My love live in your heart.
Anxiety and fear will all disperse
When you let Me carry all your hurts.
Your trials and grief I wish to bear,
Give them to Me in loving prayer.
Your tribulations give to Me,
These we'll carry equally.
Your aching heart need never be
If you'll accept My love openly.
Your confusion put aside
And let your heart in peace abide.
The snare of sin you need not fear;
You know My Spirit's always near.
Let not slander trouble you
But to My words be ever true.
You must discard all greed and pride
Walk ever humbly at My side.
This lesson once again I share
That you come to Me in daily prayer.
Your heart, your mind, your soul, your all
Give to Me each time I call.
From earthly strife that torments you
My love and peace will strengthen you."

"Certainty"
You tell Me that you know Me,
But how can you be sure?
You've opened my heart Lord
Unbarred the door.
You tell Me that you feel Me,
But how can you be sure?
I feel You in the wind, the gentle rain,
The sun's warmth.
You tell Me that you see Me,
But how can you be sure?
In the eyes of others, on mighty mountains,
In Spring's rebirth, in all creation's
beauty.
You tell Me that you hear Me,
But how can you be sure?
When someone speaks a kindly word,
The quiet of a night, the thunder of a
waterfall,
A baby's cry.
You tell Me that you touch Me,
But how can you be sure?
By reaching out to others, carrying my
cross,
Petting an animal, a warm embrace.
You tell Me that you understand Me,
But how can you be sure?
The peace of surrender of self,
Doing Your will, listening.
You tell Me that you love Me,
But how can you be sure?
A hunger that cannot be satisfied,
A yearning to meet You, see You face to
face.
You tell Me that you believe in Me,
But how can you be sure?
Your words are ever true, You've made no
mistakes,
Creation proves Your existence.
You tell Me you want to serve Me,
But how can you be sure?
The joy in helping others, sharing my self,
The excitement of reaching out,
Doing an honest days work.
You tell Me you are fine,
But how can you be sure?
Your words have taught me so,
Your life and death are proof,
I believe!
You tell Me that I forgive you,
But how can you be sure?
The wounds afflicted on Your body,
The sacraments You've left us, peace.
You say all these things and more,
Yet, how can you be sure?
The gift of faith You've given me,
The gentle prodding, the pounding heart,
The inner peace, the quiet love and more.

"Reality"
You come to Me in love
But your heart is still afraid
Why hold to fear and darkness
When straight your path I've made?
You say you cannot see Me
My hand you cannot touch
Yet I'm here surrounding you
In all you love so much.
Each Spring I bring new life
The earth is born anew
Come, be reconciled to Me
Your heart will be awakened too.
The rains I send upon the earth
To cleanse it of all debris
The tears you shed in sorrow
Will bring you closer to Me.
The sun I send brings warmth
And days that are clear and bright
You will not hesitate, stumble or falter
If you keep My Son in sight.
When Winter comes and all seems dead
Snow covers the earth
It is blanketed and nourished
For the next spring's rebirth
Surely you cannot see Me
When the eyes of your soul are closed
But when you realize I live in everything
Your heart will find repose.

"Troubled"
"With my head bowed down in sorrow,
And eyes that seek the light,
I go about my daily chores,
Trying to do what's right.
Trials and fears are coupled by
A sad and troubled heart
And I grope there in the darkness,
Your peace - oh please impart.
I settle down for daily prayer
But the quiet does not come,
The restless soul within me
Seeks the presence of the Son.
The strife of daily living
True facts of life impart,
And my soul is in a quandary
As I seek a tranquil heart.
But the world with all its evil
Pushes true Love and Light aside,
To pursue its earthly pleasures,
And in darkness it resides.
My soul finds no true happiness,
My heart is seeking grace,
For peace and joy will come to me
When I see Him face to face."

"My Hearts Desire"
To do God's Will from morn till night
Making each chore a pure delight.
As I lift my heart in daily prayer.
That 's my heart's desire.
To reach one soul that's gone astray
Telling them of God's holy way.
As we pray in unison from the heart.
That's my heart's desire.
To show God's Love in all I do
And make amends for sinners too.
As love pours freely from my heart.
That's my heart's desire.
To lift one heart from deep despair
And tell them God is waiting there.
As I witness joy upon their face
That's my heart's desire.
To see our world turn from sin and hate
Into a tranquil loving state.
As I give my life to my God above.
That's my heart's desire.

"I Too Am Alone"
"When you feel alone and empty
And no one seems to care,
Lift your heart toward Heaven
For I am waiting there;
I too am alone.
When your burdens seem too heavy
And your back is bent with weight,
Why not share with Me?
Don't just sit and wait,
I too am alone.
When your heart is wracked with sorrow
And tears pour from your eyes,
Look into My lonely Heart
So sensitive..but realize
I too am alone
When the pain is overbearing
And your soul starts to despair,
Look upon My ragged cross
And see Me hanging there--
I too am alone
When loved -ones seem so distant
And friends are far apart,
Share with Me your emptyness,
See My broken Heart;
I too am alone.
Do you know I live within you?
My temple's near your heart.
I long to have you talk to Me,
Your deepest thoughts impart--
I too am alone.
Come each day and talk with Me,
Empty out your heart
As we build a deep relationship
Uniting heart to heart--
Then we won't be alone.

"Come Walk with Me"
"Come My child and learn to live
Put grief and strife aside
Walk with Me down life's path
Stay ever by My side.
See all things as I have made them;
Pure, clean and bright.
Use your inner eyes to see;
Fill your soul with My delight.
Hear the sounds of earth,
A symphony so rare.
Your ears must be wide open.
To hear My message there.
Smell earth's fragrance as we pass;
Each scent is quite unique.
Use every breath to praise me;
Place your blessings at My feet.
Taste of earth's abundance,
Flavors rare as wine,
But for nourishment eternal,
On My Body you must dine.
Feel the earth as we walk by,
Each texture is so rare,
Yes, feel My love in everything,
That I have planted there.
As your senses are awakened,
And your heart becomes aware,
You will know that all creation,
Can be your daily prayer.
So come to Me each new day,
With an awareness in your heart,
And take a daily walk with Me,
With an open, loving heart."
* Vision with poem via LST:
Jesus and I were walking on a dirt path. There is a river flowing to one side and beautiful majestic snow-capped mountains across the river. Much lush green grass and many trees, dense in one area, and only scattered trees near the path. There is a huge rock near the river and Jesus sits on it and begins to describe the above message in more detail. I can see the reflection of the snow-capped mountains in the calm waters.

"Eternally Yours"
In your mercy, Lord, forgive me.
In your arms, hold me.
With your heart, love me.
In Jesus name, hear me.
With your hands direct me.
In your footsteps, let me walk.
By your side, keep me.
At your table, let me eat.
With your Body and Blood Lord, nourish me.
By your passion, strengthen me.
By your death, heal me.
In your wounds, anoint me.
With the water from your side, cleanse me.
At your cross, let me stand.
By your example, show me.
With your words, teach me.
Through your teachings, guide me.
With your Holy Spirit Lord, light my path,
That I might be, Eternally Yours.

"Promises"
"Come to Me Oh My little one.
Hear as I call out your name.
Realize that you can't find Me alone.
'tis your faith that's calling you home.
Seek to keep your heart pure.
Bring Me a love that is true,
Give Me all sorrows, ills and strife
And My peace and love will light your life.
Turn your back to the darkness.
Let Me be your light.
Know that the presence of sin
Keeps My love from entering in.
Open your eyes to all beauty.
Open your ears to My word.
For a heart that's a slave to sin.
Is already dead within.
Know that My word is the answer.
Know that My word is true.
Be open to Me in everything
And with joy your heart will sing.
For I am a God of love.
Yes, a loving God am I.
And you who openly follow Me
Will live with Me eternally."

"Self Dedication"
Take my eyes, Lord, and give them to
someone who is blind, that
they may see You in everything.
Take my ears, Lord, and give them to
someone who is deaf, that
they might hear Your voice.
Take my mouth, Lord, and give it to
someone who is dumb, that they
might proclaim Your word to all nations.
Take my hands, Lord, and give them to
someone who has no hands; let
them raise their hands to praise You.
Take my feet, Lord, and give them to
someone who cannot walk; let
them walk in righteousness.
Take my mind, Lord, and give it to
someone who cannot think, that
they might feel Your glorious Presence.
Take my heart, Lord, and give it to
the heartless, that they might know
Your love.
Take Your Spirit, Lord, that is
within me and lead a non-believer
home.

"My Strength"
Refrain
"So many rivers to cross.
So many mountains to climb.
So many hurdles to overcome
To strengthen my soul and my mind.
Each new day brings trials and ills
But these I do not fear.
Instead I offer thanks and praise
To my loving God so near.
Refrain
For in my daily turbulence..
I find my Master's Hand.
And follow Him in blind faith
Unto a better land.
Refrain
For as I climb and as I swim
I find the strength I seek.
And in the eve I find myself.
Resting at God's Feet."

"Come, Love and Obey"
Come, open your heart to Me
Let me fill it with love.
Come, lift up yourself to Me.
And I will give you love.
Obey my words, oh my little one,
I'll never leave your side.
Be not afraid of the evil one
Let My Spirit be your guide.
Honor thy Father, hear every word,
Listen to me when I call,
Your burdens will never be heavy
I've promised you'll never fall.
Come, take up your cross this day,
Lift up your heart in prayer
No heartfelt supplication
Will escape my loving care.
To you who come as I command
And know my every word,
I promise you eternal life
Your every prayer is heard.
So come lift up your heart in love.
My every word obey,
I hold you in my hand, dear child,
Today and every day.

Prior to the inspiration of this poem an inspired melody was given
in July 1979
to fit these words for a song.
"My Jesus"
Who holds my hand when I'm afraid
And leads my soul beyond the grave?
My Jesus.
Who comes to me each time I call
And picks me up each time I fall?
My Jesus
Who shows me love each day and night
And never leaves me out of sight?
My Jesus
Who heals my heart when I've been wronged
And fills my heart with joyous song?
My Jesus.
Who leads my feet down narrow paths
And holds me close and holds me fast?
My Jesus.
Who dries my tears each time I cry
And heals my wounds from throne on high?
My Jesus.
Who's forgiving each time I sin
And holds me ever close to Him?
My Jesus
Who spent His life that I might learn
And asks so little in return?
My Jesus.
Who teaches me from day to day
And gently guides me on my way?
My Jesus.
Who gave me Mary as my Mother
And is my Savior and is my Brother?
My Jesus.
Who fills my heart with love each day
And with His lips taught me to pray?
My Jesus.
Who guides me through my daily chores
And promises help forever more?
My Jesus
Who is my way, my truth, my light
And promises me eternal life?
My Jesus
Who hears each prayer my lips do raise
And asks me then to offer praise?
My Jesus.
Who is He, when life is o'er
Will welcome me at His front door?
My Jesus.
Who gives me love, who shows the way
And is my strength for each new day?
My Jesus.
Who blesses me and calls me by name
And blesses me with His Spirit's flame?
My Jesus.
Who teaches me each time He speaks
And strengthens me with each defeat?
My Jesus.
Who says, "My child, come follow Me"
And life is yours eternally?
My Jesus.
Who gave commands I must obey
And with His love lights the way?
My Jesus.
Who, when I'm called from this daily strife
Will nourish my soul with eternal life?
My Jesus.
Who gave me Bread, who gave me Wine
And says "My child, you'll never die?"
My Jesus.
