.The Royal Bridegroom.

New York - A Brief Statement

by Katie Burchfield

Mission Accomplished! I have fulfilled my responsibility to the people of New York. I can share the following for now. I'll share more in a detail writing hopefully within the next week.

Thank you all for your prayers, letters, and novenas.

All three days were very full...... very busy. I arrived home late last night and have slept for most of the day. I go back to work tomorrow.

The following happened for three days: First we went everyday to NBC for the Today Show. We were there by 7a.m. for two mornings and by 8a.m. Sunday morning. The sign was held up by the time we left our hotel until we arrive later at St. Patrick's for mass. The sign was held up with a stick. A 16x20 print of the Royal Bridegroom was in the center with the following on the one side: Rejoice! For God so Love the World ..... I Come Quickly! Marana Tha! It said on the other side: Repent! God will flick a rock that will destroy the Statue of Liberty. Maranatha!

This complete message was on the front and back side so people coming and going could read it. Also, over a thousand copies of this sign were made to be passed out with the following message against the play Corpus Christi: "STOP" In the name of Jesus Christ. We must stop offending God. THIS is a visual message and representation of Jesus Christ! PLAY! For God is very angry, especially with abortion and homosexuality. Our Lord said to put a male, female, and child's hand in each group of hands. He instructed me to say, "NOT" male, male, and child or female, female, and child." Recently a well known minister asked our Lord how to fight against the play Corpus Christi? The Holy Spirit told him not to fight. That this was His battle! That it was now out of everybody's hands! This is a merciful and compassionate warning to America and the World.

For each day during the Today Show, the sign was seen on TV next to the head of one of the host while they were given the news. It was also shown at other times. On Friday, Matt, another host, and a camera man of the show were given a copy.... We now have documentation.

We also went to the office of the bishop of New York. We were given permission to come right up. We did not get to see him but we left an important package with his secretary. She was also kind enough to show us around.

Rest of Friday was spent walking the streets of Manhattan with the sign and passing out flyers.

The schedule for Saturday and Sunday went pretty much the same. We walked the streets of Manhattan holding the sign up, passing out flyers, and putting flyers on cars. We never saw anyone throw a flyer down or put it in the garbage. We had people from walking, to riding bikes, buses, taxi cabs, and limousine reach out for a flyer. The sign stayed up for about four hours, never did it come down.

Our loving Mother with the Holy Spirit was holding my hand as I walked the streets of New York..... Thank you, Mother!

We covered Central Park, Fifth Avenue, the Subways, going wherever the Holy Spirit led us. On Sunday He had us to stop in front of a church. Then I looked up and saw that we were also right in front of the Disney store. I then remembered the boycot against Disney. Later that day He led us back to the front door of Disney, also to Donald Trump's building. My friend went inside and left a flyer.

We stayed in a hotel directly across from the Manhattan Club Threatre where the play Corpus Christi was showing. This was Friday, November 13th. I was told this played started on September 13th. ...... Sept. 13th., Oct.13., and Nov. 13th. Three months and our Father says again, "This is My Battle!" The show Friday Night started at 8pm. I walked across the street to pass out the flyers. I passed out maybe two flyers when a police officer came up to me and with kindness said I had to go back across the street. I asked him could I give him one. He said he would like to have one but had to wait until he was off duty. He was very kind. I stood across the street watching and feeling tremendous saddness. The saddness and heaviness of the hearts of our Lord and Mother was and is tremendous. Our Lord and Mother were preparing me for the next day.

On Saturday the play started around 2p.m. I was there by 1p.m., standing on the yellow curb just a few feet from the door of the threatre. I didn't pass out any flyers on that side of the street. I just held the sign up high, like the Statue of Liberty holds up the torch. I went into a prayer state with our Lord and loving Mother. My eyes looked up to heaven. My eyes were to stay focus on the heavens and the voice of Jesus. Then all of a sudden a quiet flood of tears started flooding from my eyes. I felt like a mother crying for her children. My eyes became a vessel for heaven's tears to flow through. This continue without stopping for about fourty minutes. One thing I can share was I heard an inner voice say "A woman's tears can soften a hardened heart." Then it started to taper off and it would come back. Finally I bowed my head. The next thing I knew a voice was calling me to wake up. I opened my eyes. I was still holding the sign up high with my right hand. A police car had pulled up beside me and was trying to get my attention. The officer said I had to stand across the street. I asked him if it was against the law. The other officer said in a very kind voice, not to make their job difficult. I smile and said no sir I wouldn't want to do that. They drove off and I walked across the street. I stood next to the parked cars so drivers going by could read the sign. This time my left hand held the sign up until the play was over and all the people had gone home. It was around 4:30pm by that time.

The play started again on Sunday around 2p.m. I held the sign again starting at 1p.m. I had to stop after 2p.m. to get to the airport for our flight home.

Our plane took off around 5:30p.m. As we flew over Manhattan I could see the Statue of Liberty. It looked so small compared to the twin towers and other buildings...... and I breath a deep sigh!
