Blessed is the name of Jesus. May His name be music to our ears and comfort to our souls. May his name be our battle cry. May his name leap forth from our tongs in reverent adoration. May His name lift us up and make us greater than we could ever be. Blessed is the name of Jesus for He has died for our sins. Oh Jesus I close my eyes and repeat your name, and through this action I live in your warm and compassionate love. Oh Great Savior, when love seems to be lost, I repeat your name and find refuge. Compassion and grace are just a word away in my times of need, that word is Your most wondrous name.
Love and compassion have only one name, and that is You Lord Jesus

We are all a part of God and reflect His great glory
These are some of my thoughts that I had last week, and would like to share them with you.
All of us at one time or another are overwhelmed by doubt and worry about the state of our souls. Last week after praying the rosary, I started thinking about my past life and how offended God must be with my many godless words, thoughts and actions. I felt so helpless and was struck with a severe case of depression and helplessness. I realized that there was no way that I on my own could relieve this great burden from my back and that I may have to carry this great burden around with me forever. In complete abandonment, I cried out to my Father for help. Very slowly, these words came into my mind.
"Look to your enter self Dennis, and see your self as I created you. Look to that small flickering ember of My self that I gave you when I created your soul. See how I loved you and only wished the best for you. Look how I have followed you and blessed you all your life. Turn away from what you have created for I have forgiven you through the blood of My most loved Son. Turn away from your creations and dwell in the light that I put there at your creation. See how the light flickers and twinkles with My most infinite power and love. Trust in that light, as your are My son whom I will always love. Look to the light."
These thoughts lifted my depression and gave me great Joy. I have often thought about them as I faced my day-to-day life which we must all live in this very sinful world.
God bless all of you

My thoughts in Church as I
received My Lord in Communion
As I returned and knelt down, I closed my eyes and said, Oh Lord Jesus I am a sinner unworthy to receive You as my sinful ways come between You and me. As I closed my eyes, I saw a bright light which I interpreted as being the state of my soul, but in front of the light was a large black mass with fingers that radiated out and blocked the rays of light. It looked like the sun being blocked by a dark rain cloud. You could see the brightness was there, but you only saw the cloud. In the same way, most of us are our worst enemies, as our ways are not Gods ways, and we block out the goodness of our soul with works of the world.
Oh Lord save us from our selves.
The Richest Man in the World
Oh my most loving Father the richness of Your blessings are immeasurable, and have been made available to me all the days of my life.
Even though I am not rich in this world, I am rich in Your Spirit. Your riches lift me up and make me much larger than I am.
My cloths may be simple, and jewels I do not own, but Your love is worth more than rubies or gold.
Your breath it has made me and set me on my way, with riches of love I greet each of my days.
My pay is Your closeness, My substance Your gaze, for I am a rich man most blessed in Your ways.
Men may persecute me, they may jail me and put me in chains, but You are near to me Oh Father, a mere thought away.
Your hand is upon me,Your love pushes me on, for I am a rich man most loved in Your arms.
All that glitters is not gold, but is the human heart that is filled with Gods love and shared like a treasure with all His children.

It was early in the morning, and I had struggled all night trying to get some sleep. I had been sick, and had jumped to my feet to breathe many times that night. As sleep left me, and my mind started working again, I started thinking about my new Granddaughter and how sweet and wonderful she was and how much joy she had added to the whole family. I could see the smile on her face she always gives me when she first sees me. As I lay there smiling to my self, I had this most overwhelming thought. If you think that your Grand - daughter is so wonderful, think about how wonderful God must be who gave us such a precious gift. As I thought about this, I started thinking about my family, my wife, and my aunts and uncles who had shared their love with me through out the years. I saw my grandmothers and my father and mother. I was counting, and the blessings grew and grew. I saw my friends in my prayer group, and all the wonderful people I had know or worked with. And finally in my limited way I saw God. For all those happy times I thank all of you. For your love, wisdom, concern and patience I thank all of you. For the time you spent with me and prayed with me and worried and cried with me, I thank all of you. For in your love and through all of you I see how wonderful God must be.

Oh Heavenly Father we Your children reach out to You in this year of grace. From our sins we flee and run into Your loving arms of reconciliation.
Oh Father this world is so lost and in need of the Spirit, for we live, love and produce only for ourselves, and not for You. In this great year make us humble, kind and obedient to Your every desire.
Oh Loving Father, make each of us here a tool of Your desire. Accept our simple prayers and turn them in to a gentle loving rain of grace that will water the flowering of hearts, minds and souls of Your people. In this year of grace, make all our actions, words and deeds flow out of us with the help of the Holy Spirit. Make our simplicity, and love a great weapon in the hands of Your most blessed daughter and our mother Mary.
Oh Father, we fear Your justice will be spread upon the people of this earth and many will be lost. From this fear we come to You and ask forgiveness for not only our sins, but also the sins of the world.
Oh Father, You are so kind and merciful to Your children who love You. Please in this year of grace, look into the faces of Your children who love You and take that love and spread it with Your breath upon all who are in need of You, but are dead to sin and in great need of Your mercy. Take our love and pour it into a cup of mercy. Take our love and mix it with Your justice. Take our love and know how important You are to us Oh Father. Take our love knowing that it came from You, as You planted it in our simple hearts where it grew and consumed our lives.
Oh Father in this year of grace, we the members of this simple but loving cenacle expound the inner feelings of our hearts in Your great presence:
Father we are nothing without You.
Father we are Your loving children and seek You out as a harbor in this sea of sin.
Father, all that ever was, is or will ever be is from You, and only because You will it.
Oh Father we are incomplete when we stray from You, as Your love, will and mercy are glue that binds us together as Your children.
Oh Father, this world has turned away from You and does not know You. It rejects You and never honors Your Name. It is our humble hope that You will accept our love and multiply it with Your Holy Spirit and make this year of grace the year that all of Your children turned back toYour most loving arms.
Amen

The day you were born was a bright sunny day and all of the people present for you that day had bright sunny smiles as well. As I got out of my truck that your Grandmother and I had made the trip to Austin in that day, I could smell the sweet smell of cedar. It circled up my nose and caused me to pause and think about how sweet life is, and why I was there.
Dear Eden, God must have smiled the day He made you, and smiled even more when you were born, as you were surrounded by many people who loved you and wanted you. I had thought about what you might be like and look like when you were born, but I was not prepared for this most wonderful gift that God had given us that day. It was for all of us, love at first sight.
I know that your parents were very happy, because they had asked God our Father for a child such as you and had been fully rewarded by their loving prayers. You were the answer to those prayers Eden.
It is my most deepest hope Eden as you get
older and are able to read this letter that you remember what has been
said here, and it gives you strength in all that you do and are. First
of all I hope you know how wonderful and important you are to God the Father
your Creator, for He made you for a purpose. That purpose is to glorify
His Name by being a
loving, caring and forgiving person during
all the days of your life. Second, I hope you will love and respect you
parents, for I can assure you that they love you and want you to be happy.
And last, I hope you will not only love your family and friends, which
is easy, but that you will love and have compassion for those who are in
need.
May the Lord bless and keep you Eden, and may He smile upon you all the days of your life. Always remember that there is little satisfaction gained in the pursuit of diamonds and gold, but eternal worth in storing up God’s treasures in your heart.

Gather around to see the newborn Christ child. Come near and see his simplicity and vulnerability, as He was born just like you and I. He shivers as His warm breath creates white vapors in the cold air. Come and worship this great gift that has been given to us this Christmas Day by God our Father. Come closer and see His tiny hands. These hands that will bless all Gods children, these hands that reach out to all of us. Come closer and hear the Angels rejoice for on this day the Lamb of God is born. Come closer, sing out His praises, and rejoice for the Son of God has become man. Come closer and look into His loving eyes, these eyes that will see many reject Him and in the end condemn Him. ConsoleHim, for many will be called to worship Him and praise Him but few will be there when He calls us all to the cross. Weep Oh children of God, for many will curse His name and reject Him and turn away from Him. But in the end, those who will embrace His quiet love and simplicity will be called His Sheep, and in the end, He will deliver up the flock for the glory of His most loving Father and we will all rest in eternal peace.
Dear Children your mother and I welcome you to your home this Christmas day. Like the Christ Child was a blessing to all mankind, you have all been a cherished blessing for us. It is on this day, as your father, that I encourage each of you to take up the Christ Child like St. Francis did and press him closely to you. I encourage all of you to radiate the love that He brought into this world and invites you to share. I invite all of you to take up His way and live a Christ like life of simplicity, reconciliation and love. And lastly I invite all of you to realize that we are nothing without God and no matter if we are successful, loving, powerful or have done and obtained great things, we are lost if we have not done these things in Christ's name.
You Mother and I hope that this day is special for you, and wish you a Merry Christmas.
Father bless this food which
we are about to receive. May it nourish our body and bring joy to our soul.
We ask this in your Son's name Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen

Oh my Jesus I am here in Your house this day. Thank You for being
here and always available to me. As I enter in, my eyes are drawn to the
brilliance of lit candles that surround You in the sacristy. In my minds
eye I can see multitudes of angels all glorifying Your name and worshiping
You. As I kneel down before You I am only humbled by Your great love for
all of us, for You are our God and You wait for us to come to You. Patiently
You wait to surround us with the love that radiates from Your most Sacred
Heart. Oh what a treasure this church holds! How can anyone want to be
in any other place this day that our Father has made for us? What a most
wondrous and grace filled day this will be as You offer Your self to all
that are here. Great possessions, powers or positions could never pay for
the gift that will be offered up this day for the glory of God and the
salvation of His people. As our priest repeats the words "This is my body"
I can fell the great glory of God the Father and His Holy spirit all focus
on this great act, for God the Son is now here among us and is calling
all to his supper. Oh how most blessed we all are here this day, for we
are all invited guests to this meal of life. Dear Jesus, as I receive You,
I am filled with the knowledge that without You I would be lost in this
world of materialism and
self-glorification of self. You Oh my Jesus are the path through
which all men must travel. This path starts and ends at the foot of that
cross which holds Your tortured dying body, which You sacrificed for all
of us. As I leave this church to day, please be with my family and me this
week. Keep us free from harm, sin and evil. May all our actions glorify
Your name and that of Your Father until we all return once again to the
greatest treasure in the world. . Amen

Oh Heavenly Father in the last fleeting months of 1999 we the members of this Cenacle seek your mercy and in our most simple ways honor and adore you this day and at this very moment. Please Father make it a moment that opens up your great mercy on all your people. Father forgive us our sins as we have become a people lost in sin and only dwell in our own pride and desires. The world has lost it focus on you and your great love. It has ceased to believe that you actually exist or that what you want is important. We are dazzled by our creations and have forgotten that we belong to only You. We have forgotten that all our skills, possessions, blessings and our very life are from You. Oh Father I tremble at the thought of your anger with all of us and know that there is no place to hide if you punish us. Father please take our simple prayer, and hear our little voices that repeat the knowledge of your Greatness.
Blessed are you Oh God of all Creation, Blessed is your great Gift of life. All Praise and Glory are yours Almighty Father for you have created us for your own glory.
Oh Eternal Father You are beyond and before all things. All that was, is now and will ever be is from You.
Your Son Jesus Christ, for love of You died for our sins. Please hear our pleadings through him and not from our sinful nature. Hear our prayers and acknowledge our smallness. Father we offer up our days, victories, failures, hopes, dreams and sorrows in an effort to please you Oh Creator. We desire to atone for our sins and the sins of all men that reject you or blaspheme Your Name. Father help us to wake up our brothers and sisters to your anger so that we will make amends and be a people at peace with their Creator once again. Through the Holy Spirit and the love of your Son Jesus Christ we make this pleading prayer. Amen

Oh Lord who is above all, I joyfully glorify Your name for You have blessed us with Your Holy Spirit.
Oh Father, all that I have done by my self I have failed in. When I hide from You I fall. Oh Father I am, and always will be of need of your merciful graces. This world has become so wicked that no matter where I look or go, the alluring traps of the evil one draws my attention and fill my heart with desire. Oh Father to wander from You is foolish and most unwise. Oh Father, I so need Your help and make the following petitions to Your Great Spirit:
Come Oh Holy Spirit and renew my sin torn soul. Renew it with the loving graces of God our Father. Wrap around it the protection of His son's salvation. Look with pity upon me Oh fire of Gods love and fill my heart with love for all my brothers. Lift me up and remove me from all my sinful worldly ways and make me a new person that reflects Gods love in all my actions. In times of temptation be my guide. In times of sorrow be my comforter. In times of stress be my peace. Without You Oh Holy Spirit my actions, words and deeds are powered from my materialistic desires and filled with self-centeredness. When I look on the world I only see the glitter and only think of possessions and my place in it all. I hunger not for the word of God, but for self-gratification. With out Your great gifts I will surely fail Oh Spirit. Like the Apostles, I will hide and never speak of the Glory of God and his Sons love unless You enflame my heart and ignite my passions.
Come Oh Holy Spirit, come and enflame my heart with the kiss of Gods own lips.

Have you heard that God loves all of His people? Oh How wonderful are all of His creations in that moment when we were all made in His image. Even though man must live in and on this man created world, our Father is there at our side. If you let Him He will fill you with the Spirit of His most consuming love. We as His children through the cross and blood of His Son have been made the benefactors of this mighty love. Oh how special you are to Him and His Son. What a most pleasing creature in the eyes of God we can all become through His Son. With the Salvation of our Savior Jesus Christ, we can be lifted up and presented to the Father. He will forgive and forget all things when we stand before Him if we come dressed in the love offered by His Son. How important you are to your Father. How can a son or daughter not be loved, protected and provided for by his Father? When you and I sin, all in heaven agonize at our failures. For God's Angels and Saints all know the folly of our actions. Rejection of our Fathers love is like you or I standing before the universe and shouting, "I do not believe anyone is bigger than me or is before me" Our sins before God rejects the most wonderful gift ever given and replaces it with our most pathetic egos. It is like trading diamonds for sand. We must all look into our hearts and see what God sees in each of us. Are we flawed children of Adam, clinging to the merciful act of His Sons death and resurrection, or have we only looked at our own self centered desires. Have you heard that God loves all His people? Rejoice in this and praise His name. Smile and receive the joy for the one who made you loves you. Rest in His almighty arms.

If you heard a baby laugh or watched a child run and play you have seen the works of our God. If you have felt love in your heart or compassion in your soul then you have experienced the works of our God. If you have seen your self in your children and known the love of your spouse, then you have experienced the blessings of our God. Look around for your feet are planted firmly on His creations. Every hair on your head he knows the number. The beating of your heart is His making, for what have we ever created as wonderful as a flower or a cool spring morning or the soft touch of a mother? How can we not see Him in our brothers, in a smile or in a hug? How can we in our most arrogant moments reject all this and think of only our selves? Our God has deeply blessed us and has given of Himself. He has only given goodness and graces to all His people. Open your eyes to your God. Open your ears to His words. Open your Soul to His love. Open your self to the greatest gift ever given; His Son Jesus Christ. How can we reject such love? How can we ignore His Son? Are we deaf and blind and dumb? Open your Hearts to Your God for He is there at your side and walks with you. Open your Hearts to His Son. Open your Eyes to your God for the time is short.

Note to all: As this is the year of the Father (1999), I would encourage all of you to write a love letter to Him, as he is waiting to hear from all of you. The following is my letter and prayer. The season of lent is a great opportunity to get even closer to our Savior and our God. Who knows, this could be the last time we have this great blessing, as we never know when we will be called.
I am Your lowly son Oh my Lord and My God. I am Your small creation and nothing without You. Gracious is Your love, as I have been blessed with Your Spirit. Great are Your ways Oh Father for they play out Your glory. Looking for Your glory is but a blink of my eye Oh Lord as it fills my sight with the rays of Your greatness. Deeply I have search for You Oh my Lord only to find You in my very being. I looked out, when I should have look in, for You dwell in all of us as a great loving Spirit. I have run away from You only to find that I have run into Your loving arms. Your love is like a great circle, for it starts and ends with You. I have closed my eyes only to see You, I have numbed my mind only to find that my thoughts all end in thoughts of You. Your Spirit fills up my heart with visions of You Father, for You dwell where no one may go but I am drawn there. Oh Father bring me close to You and fill me with the knowledge of how You felt when You created me. Let me feel and see that most blinding moment of love that You filled me with and set me on my way. A way than can only be completed when I return to You. Oh Great Father, I know that I am important to You and that I am one of Your children. In Infinity You have known all of us and loved us and in Your great plan You created all Your children and me. Therefore Father I am Yours, every thing that I have, have ever had and will ever have is from You. Our whole being is wrapped up in this one great truth. There is nothing that I desire more than to go into the light of Your love, for in darkness is only despair and eternal suffering, In darkness You are not. In darkness is only an eternity of not being with You Oh my most Wonderful Creator. How can a son reject his father, How can we reject You our Father? For in rejecting You we reject our selves, and our heritage. Father through the love of Your Son and His great sacrifice for all of us, we cling to Your love and seek Your compassion. Please Oh Father, smile on all Your children who come to You through Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen

Dwell in all those who open their hearts to Your great love and cleanse our minds, bodies and souls. Instill in us the fear of God's wrath on those who reject Him. Guide and nurture those who have reconciled them selves with the Father. Strip from the minds of men all thoughts of self and replace it with a love for our brothers and sisters. Give the vision of love as seen through the eyes of our Savior Jesus Christ and His Father. Give us the armor of Christ, walk with us in our battles, fill our hearts with love and let our voices shout out your wisdom. Change us Oh Spirit, make us new creatures of the Father, strip away the old ways in our hearts and replace it with His ways. Be our morning and our day well blessed, be our evening and lighten the shadows of night. Be with us as we search out for those in need. We are weak Oh Spirit, walk with all of us who are weak in spirit down the path to the Son. Give us strength to make that trip, nourish us in our hour of need, lift us up when we have fallen and open our eyes to our errors. With you as our staff, we can all lift our selfs up, and through the graces of the Father and the salvation of the Son, once again be Gods people.

When I cried for my children you were there.
When I was lost and had need for answers you were there.
When I wandered and stumbled you were there.
When I was low and downhearted you were there.
When I prayed for Gods mercy you were there.
When I was sick and in pain you were there.
When despair seemed to overcome me you were there.
When love had left my heart you were there.
When I turned towards heaven you were there.
You have always been there my most loving mother, there by the side of your Son. And when I needed Him the most, you brought me before Him. Oh what a loving Mother you are.

Oh Heavenly Father the world does not know You and because of this we sow the seeds of wickedness upon our land and mark and blacken the souls of Your people with our selfishness, greed, hate and self-centeredness. The weak are outcast, and the mighty look upon the world as an apple to be picked. Those who seek You out and demand that Your laws be followed are hated and singled out. Dear Father have mercy on the poor, the weak and the unknowing. Have mercy on the unborn, the meek and the simple and purist of us all. How except for Your strength can we ever hope to survive such evil attacks by the wicked? The world has gone mad Oh Father, and Your faithful have paid dearly with their own families and loved ones. Our children have been torn from us and live a life away from You. Living in this world requires Your shield Oh Father, as the lion will soon eat the lamb. Oh Father, the evil one has only to rest as we slowly do his bidding and destroy our bodies and our immortal souls with our evil actions. The world has been wound up tight and will soon spring loose, casting a dark cloud upon this earth. Please Oh Father, respond to our call for an end to this madness. Enlighten our minds to Your love and Your disgust with the ways that we have chosen. Have mercy upon this country for we have abandoned the ways of our forefathers and have replaced them with greed for power, pleasure and self-importance. We ask this in the name of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Oh Heavenly Father, I know You are here with all of us today to celebrate the sacrifice of the Mass. In my mind I can see Your loving gaze as our priest lifts the consecrated host for all to see and worship; for Your Son is present now among us and is available to all that seek him out. "This is the Lamb of God" echoes in my ears and increases my desire to partake of the greatest gift ever given to man, and I Your most unworthy servant am a recipient of this precious blessing. You Oh Father have not held back Your blessings to Your people, but from love and compassion have given us the thing that is most dear to You. Jesus Your Son is that gift, and I a unworthy sinner embrace this infinite kindness. How can any of us know this and still turn our backs to You, for You have given of Your self. You have given from Your very being, You have given the part that I as a simple human could never ever comprehend. Oh Father, we dedicate this year to You, and look forward to serving You. Please Oh Father, continue to bless all here present with the greatest gift ever given, Your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Jesus, thank You for coming to me in Communion this day. As I received you, I could taste all of your salty tears that You cry for Your children. I know that Your tears are for all of us, and that I added to their bitterness. I know that You cry for all of us here in church today, and for all those that are not here and do not care. Oh Jesus, I can imagine the tears that You wept for all of us in the garden before they took You away; knowing that not all would see Your great compassion in the sacrifice that was to come. Please forgive me Sweet Jesus for the pain and suffering that I caused You and accept the small tears that I now cry as a comfort. How precious is Your gift as it fills my heart with gladness this new years day.
Blessed are You Oh Lord Jesus, for you are the savior of the world.
The Year of the Father
Wharton Holy Family Church Cenacle
For Week of December 21, 1998
by Dennis DeLaurier
Dear Father, this is the year that we dedicate to You. All of our years have been Yours, but in this special year, each of us needs to rethink our relationship with You. Oh Father, Your glorious attributes are like gold rings that are threaded on a sparkling chain of love that You wear around Your neck. Each attribute is balanced and interwoven with love. What a most perfect being You are Oh Father and my ideas of what You are only bounce and rattles around in my simple drum like mind. How can the created understand the creator except for love and graces given out to us as a seal of Your commitment? Oh Father, the world does not understand You or what You want and it is misled by thoughts of its own greatness. We hardly realize just how small we really are and how wonderful, powerful and demanding You will be in the end of each of our lives. Oh father, guide my hand and help me to spill out the greatness of Your glory in my most simple way.
Oh Father You are eternal, You always were and will always be. Before I was You knew me and loved me.
Oh Father You are just. Your justice is for every one and all were created equal under that justice.
Oh Father, Your are merciful, as You have pursued me all my life and have forgiven me all my sins when I only ask.
Oh Father You are all powerful. The universe that we exist in is but a simple thought and it is because You will it. Oh Father You created me and what I am glorifies and shouts out how powerful a living God You are.
Oh Father You are a demanding God. What You expect from us is laid out for us in Your commandments and graced with the words of Your Son. "You will love Your God with Your whole mind, heart, body and soul and Your neighbor as Your self".
Oh Father You are a jealous God, as Your commandments so state. "I am the Lord Your God, You shall not have false gods before me" Your jealousy demands my attention and will serve me well.
Oh Father You are a vengeful God. "Vengeance is Mine" Truly we should live our lives with that realization and should ever hope that we are not faced with that vengeance.
Oh Father You are a perfect God. To question that truth is to be a fool and to not understand how simple our understanding of You is. To gaze out upon this world and all its creations can only enforce that realization.
Oh Father we were created in Your image. Jesus said, if You see me, You see the father. All the goodness of our Lord Jesus was focused in one of the most merciful sacrifices that has ever occurred in time or space. You Oh Father sent Your only Son to take on the flesh and body of a man and to sacrifice His life so we could all be purified and be presentable to You. What can be said of this? What words can be said that would even begin to describe this act? How can we ever fathom what a most merciful deed that this is? Oh Father, You surely did it for love of Your people and I can understand Your anger when that love is rejected. Our parents rejected You, and we now reject You. Can we go on demanding Your patience and mercy?
Oh Father I cry for this world, I cry for my children and I cry for my sinful self. Father what a most wonderful world this would be if we could but only see how most loving and kind You are. Your great and power attributes are fitted on a chain of love. Father I ask this night for Your mercy and that love, not because I could ever deserve it, but ask it through the great sacrifice that Your Son made 2000 years ago. Please Oh Father send the Holy Spirit, send a great awakening fire that will awaken even the minds of the most hardened sinner. Help us to create a world where Your Son Jesus Christ is our King and all honor and glory are Yours forever. Amen

Dear Father, How merciful You have been to me. I feel very close to You and know that You are with me no matter what I do or where I go. I am Your child and Your are my Father who watches over me with much attention. Over the years I have rejected You and went my way, never thinking of what You wanted or demanded as my God. Oh Father how foolish I have been and how loving You ways are, as You have stripped me bare and displayed my darkened soul for me to see. I tried to hide Oh Father from all that I have done, but Your love illuminated all my hiding places and removed any shadow that I might hide in. I made shallow excuses and mumbled incoherent words, which were washed clean and exposed. I ran Father but You followed me. I refused to think but You opened up my mind. I cried but You would not relent. Oh Father I am exhausted and I fall on my knees before You, as I am naked before You and I shudder with fear in what I am and what I have done. Father I reach out to You for mercy for in my mind and being echoes the knowledge that I have offended You and that You are unhappy with me. Father I am so weak and cannot make it without Your love and compassion. Please Oh Father, have mercy on me a faithless undeserving sinner. I am so incomplete when I reject Your wishes and desires. Father, please continue to expose me to the light, and help me to do Your will from this point on.
All honor and glory are Yours Oh Mighty Father – forever and ever - Amen

by Dennis DeLaurier
Dear Father fill us with Your spirit. Oh Father we Your children reach out for You. What a loving and caring God are You our Creator. In Your Infinite wisdom, power and might You created all of us for Your pleasure. Not as a toy to be played with, but as something to love and bless. Help all of us Oh Infinite One to realize how pleased You are with Your creations when they acknowledge You and realize how dependant they are on You. Father You are not to be denied what You want and most lovingly demand from us, for You will lift up those who love You and call out to You in their need. For those who reject You, You will reject them also, but only when all else has failed. Oh most merciful Father You pursue the enlightened, the lost and the wicked and only offer us Your mercy and love. Father as I stand before You, I am but a small part of Your most loving wisdom, but in this smallness there is a great love that surrounds me and You laugh, smile and take great delight when I tell You of my love for You. I am a small part of You Oh most Wonderful Creator and my heart leaps out to You and wishes to be surrounded with this love. How most wondrous is that love You have for all of us. How blessed we are Father and these blessing will flow out from You like a flood if we only open our hearts to You.
Father because of Your great love:
We have lost all fear of living in this wicked world. We are bathed in it every day of our lives. We look to You every moment of every hour of every day with joy. Our hearts are filled with love. All our needs are met with mercy and kindness. We realize that You have a great plan for each of us.
Father You did not make each of us to be lost to the evil that we have created, but created us to do great things. In each of us there is a small but powerful loving force that You placed there at our creation. Father open us up to this power and may we all like a great wildfire spread it all over this world. Open the minds of Your people so that they may see how special each of us is to You. Thank You Oh Father for creating each of us. Oh Father, all honor and glory are Yours forever. Amen

Oh Jesus the sheep of Your church reach out for Your loving embrace. We reach out for reconciliation and Your sweet mercy. Lost are we without You Oh Lord, for our world is full of smoke and the evil ways of men. Oh loving Bridegroom, Your Spouse the Church awaits You loving embrace with anticipation, for Your people are not complete without You. Oh Jesus You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You wear the Royal Crown given to You by Your loving Father. Intercede for us with the Father so that He will awaken all His people through the graces of His most Holy Spirit. Oh Jesus, at Your side no one will fail, as You are our Victorious King. Lead us into battle Oh Lord and be our armor against the wicked attacks of the Evil one. With You burning love Oh most Loving Royal Bridegroom, we can all return to Your side when the battles of life are over and serve and love You and Your Father for eternity. Amen

Oh my most Precious Jesus, I come to You in pain and as a sinner who has failed again and in many ways. Now that how I live and what I say and believe are important to me, I am amazed at how easy it is to sin and how I was before this realization. I pray to You Jesus for an increase in my tiny faith as I have fallen to the whims of my mind and to the easy way of the world. I am truly a lost soul Dear Jesus, and I need and seek out Your loving forgiveness and love. Oh Jesus, how can I be on the path planned out by Your most Wondrous Father and then fall into the dark crevices of sin caused by my self centered desires? Along the path to You Oh Jesus are occasions of sin, which whip and swirl them selves very close to my heart. I have slipped, fallen, struggled and failed many times Oh Lord, and I have bruised and darkened my soul in the traps and snares that line that path. How can I have my eyes upon You my Savior only to wander off into my own closed up world? I am completely at Your mercy Lord, for I am weighted down with my own humanistic ways and desires. Without You Oh Savior, I can do nothing as I slowly sink into the dark and murky pit where God does not exist. Pull me out of the night Oh Jesus and shine the bright morning light of Your loving Sacred Heard upon me and upon the whole world. Make that light shine in my heart and in the hearts of all sinners who are lost but seek the light of Your goodness and mercy. Make all our times a time lit by the brilliant dazzling love You have for all of us. Forgive all of our sins Oh Lord and Master and help us to avoid the occasion of sin. Amen

Come Oh Holy Spirit, come by the means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your Well Blessed Spouse.
Oh Holy Spirit, it is through Your most powerful intercession that the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ were able to overcome their fears, lack of confidence and ignorance and preach the Gospel to Gods people. Oh Holy Spirit, my mind is limited by fear and my confidence is that of one who is lost. My ignorance overwhelms any thing that I might try to say or do. Oh Holy Spirit, I have opened my heart to You and make myself available to all Your great gifts. Fill me up with Your graces and dwell in my heart and soul all the days of my life. Through Your loving kindness make my heart a repository of the love of Gods Son our Savior Jesus Christ. Make me a tool and beacon for the work of the Father; and may the love the Father has for His Son and the Son for the Father pour out of my heart onto all those that I love or come in contact with each day. Walk with me Oh Holy Spirit for I stumble, weave and wander from the path of ever lasting glory. Be in me Oh Great Gift of Strength for I am weak and a small flickering flame that may easily be extinguished. Speak for me Oh Spirit for I only stammer and stutter when I speak. See for me Oh Great Gift of Grace for I am blind and cannot see. Choose for me Oh Flame of Love, for all my choices are fraught with error. Listen for me Oh Wisdom of God for I hear not the words of the Father, but the overwhelming sounds of this world's sinful ways. Amen

Oh Heavenly Father, my heart is open to You and I come to You as a lost son. It has been a long time since I have spoken with You or looked up to You for I have been full of myself and have wandered the ways of the world. I have filled myself up with the bitter things that You reject in all men and have trod the path that leads me away from You. I now desire to return to that love I had for You as a child. I yearn for those simple trusting times when Your greatness was before me and a part of me. In my most simplistic way I left open my heart for You to fill with love and wonderment. Oh Father help me to regain that most simple but trusting relationship with You again. I now realize how much a part of You that I am, and that my sophisticated ways are an evil lie that cut me off from You. My possessions are a pittance, that have no meaning and my status in Your light is the status of a fool who has traded an infinite loving God of a fleeting meaningless existence. How can one trade their hearts for fool's gold? How can one trade an eternity of wonderment, peace, love and glory for a few fleeting moments of passion, greed, hate or self-gratification? The only answer to that can be that we have been blinded by the ways of sin and evil. Oh Father I come to You as a child and have rejected all my desires. I am open to Your desires and wish to be Your lowly undeserving servant Oh Loving Father who dwells in an infinite unapproachable light have mercy on me. Please Oh Father, with merciful graces enlightenment me with Your most Holy Spirit. Cleanse my most hardened heart and soul and help me to be Your child once more. Amen
A Testimony to your Greatness Father
For Week of September 28, 1998
by Dennis DeLaurier
How can we not see You Oh my God, for I have heard the words of men who are blind to Your love and Your most wondrous creations. Oh Father we are witnesses to, surrounded by and made of the things that are You. We touch, taste, breathe, see and hear the things that you have made and are a part of. Our heart beats because of You. When we think, the neurons follow ancient paths dictated by Your greatness consummated before each of us ever existed or the universe was even made. Oh Father You are before time and distance. Your glory is an eternal glory that I Your humble creation could never comprehend or explain. Is the created greater than the creator? Am I so blind that I am only subject to my own will? How foolish this would be my Loving Father. Over the many years that man has walked this earth, never has there been a more loving benefactor greater than You. My eyes have seen the glory of Your most wondrous universe and the sweet, most incredible hand and fingers of a newborn child. I have heard children's laughter and the loving words of a mother. I have felt the raw blistering winds of winter, the rumble of thunder and the cool bright days of spring. I have felt Your great power and love in my emotions and I have slept the sweet sleep of one that is loved and well tended. How could I even in my most maddening moments ever reject this testimony to your love, glory and greatness.
Oh Father forgive those who see but are blind, or see Your creations but curse them. Forgive those who do not care and only think of what they own and not what You have given. Father, forgive me as I AM THE GREATEST SINNER OF ALL, because I have seen Your glory, know Your greatness, experienced and lived in Your love and then REJECTED YOU WITH MY SINS. Amen.

Oh Father I am awake and fall to my knees in panic for my blackened soul. My hearts pounds within my chest and my head throbs with quickened anticipation of my demise. What will I do Oh Father as my whole being is surrounded and encapsulated in my sins and secular ways. The world is a roadblock to You and my mind is filled with it's smoke and functions like one who is drunk. The words of my mind when presented to my tongue come out as a stammer. Oh Father I am a lost soul in great need of Your Love and that of Your son. I know what I want Oh Father, for I can say it, but the words are pale and do not contain a Your fiery zeal. Oh Father I worship You like a dead man, cold and without meaning or measure. Oh Father, I have come to realize that there is nothing that I can do by my self. Because of my sinful nature and my passion for self and the love for the glitter of the world, I have become a lost soul. Oh Father I beseech You, have mercy on me the least of Your creations. Fill my whole being with Your Holy Spirit so that I may present my self to Your Most Precious Son, and reach out for His loving hands, His Sacred Merciful Heart, and his Salvation of grace.
These are my loud and painful pleadings Oh Father:
Oh Father, clear my mind. Help me to see Your clearly so that I may focus on the path to You and Your Son.
Oh Father, awaken my conscience. I need You help to make all my choices Your choices.
Oh Father, unbind my hands an feet. I can only fumble, stagger and stumble without Your firm hand on my shoulder.
Oh Father Lighten my load. Lighten not Your load or the load of Your Sons cross, but the sinful loads which burden my soul.
Oh Father release my love. Help me to love all Your children even those who wish to harm me.
Oh Father release my compassion. Make me last Father so that the least of Your children may be first.
Oh Father make me Your slave and servant. Father I am nothing compared to You. Please use my small nothingness in Your great wisdom and for Your great glory.
Amen
We bathe in your Glory Oh God
For Week of September 14, 1998
Oh Loving God, There is no place to hide from you. We could be any place and you would know it, for we are part of You. Does a devoted mother not know where her children are or how they are doing? Does a loving husband not worry about his spouse? It is the same with You Oh my most Wonderful Creator as Your people are Your most precious creations and can only be happy with You.
Father, from age to age you have blessed us with your care, and through that care, in our small humble ways we have reflected Your greatness. Your works are like an infinity of stars, which flash and Twinkie, forever speaking of your great glory. It is impossible to open ones eyes and ears without hearing or seeing Your perfection.
Living this life you have given us, and looking into our children's eyes casts a great loving spell upon our hearts. Oh Father we bathe in your glory for you have loved all of us even before we were born.
Our heart leaps out to You our Father when we are touched by the wisdom of Your Spirit which guides our conscience, and the loving words of Your Great Son. Oh Loving God, Creator and Infinite one, we all desire to serve you. That service can never be until we deny our selves and open our eyes, ears and hearts to Your love and our souls to Your perfection.
Please Oh Father, through your most Holy Spirit, open our ears, remove the blinders from our eyes and melt our hearts so that we may work towards the perfection of our souls and bathe our selves in your great glory.
Amen
For Week of September 7, 1998
Oh Jesus, I am a sinner blinded by my sins. Your great love for me is hidden by my sinful ways. My lazy self-centered life has shielded me from your great radiant love and hardened my heart. Oh Jesus I fall before your feet and beg your forgiveness. I admit that it is only through you, and with you could I ever hope to be saved from this world and myself. I freely admit and confess that I am a sinner in most need of your loving mercy, and that I am lost without your love and salvation. Oh Loving Jesus what a most wonderful Master you are; as you have given all of us the ultimate sacrifice of your life. How could one not desire to serve such a Loving Lord? What is it in our hearts that could ever reject such compassion and loving care? How could we ever be so blind as not to see what great mercy is available to all sinners if they only come to you?
Oh loving Shepherd, I am Your lost lamb, Thank You for going out and finding me. I have been so lost that that I did not know where I was or what I should do. Your great tender arms have picked me up and brought me to Your loving bosom. You have fed me with You body and blood, You have filled me with your Spirit. Please Oh Master never let me wander again, as I am not complete without you.
Oh merciful Lord, All has been given to You by the Father. You are then above all things, and all things are to be as You desire. My desires then must become Your desires, my life Your life, and all that I am or will ever be must be for You. Oh Son of our most gracious God, I could be all these things except for my sinful ways. I beg Oh Master that You in Your infinite mercy send Your Spirit upon all of us and remove all that comes between us, so that when the end of all our lives arrive, we may all be worthy to praise Your name in heaven and in eternity. Amen

Like a Child
For Week of August 31, 1998
Dear sweet mother, like a child I love you so much, and thank you for your motherly care, intervention and love. Your Immaculate Heart has caused me to reach out to you in a most humble and child like manner. It is your motherly love that brings me to you with hope and abandoment. Oh Holy Virgin, take me to your most Loving Son and present me to Him. I have been so far away that I can hardly recognize Him. I see Him but my mind and heart are blank because I do not know Him. Please Oh Lady bring me closer so He can reach out and touch me with the love of His most Sacred Heart. Instill in me the joy you share with Him. Share with me the love that you have for Him in your most pure Immaculate heart. Show me the sorrow, pain and wounds you suffered as His mother. Take me by my hand and lead me there, wrap me up and chain my heart and soul so that I may never escape from Him again. Oh Lady, like a small child, I am afraid that the world will devour me again with it's sinful ways. I have rejected my wordily sinful ways, but my past tugs and pulls at me and it is only in Your two most Precious Hearts could I ever expect to survive.
Blessed are you Oh mother for your Son is the Savior of the world!
Your Most Loving Mother
Dear sweet Savior, thank you for Your wonderful mother. Thank You for sharing her with the whole world. Thank You for giving us to her in your most painful moment on this earth. Out of your pain and agony came your love, a love so deep for all of us that you gave us your most precious mother. What a sparkling pure and excellent gift this has been, for out of her most Immaculate Heart only comes love. That love for You that she wants to share with all of us. Dear Jesus, your mothers love for You has lifted me up and swept me into your loving arms. She has whispered Your greatness in my ear and helped me struggle from my chains until I was at your feet. Oh Loving Lord, how wonderful you are and how luck are they who love your mother.
Amen
Where have we gone?
For Week of August 24, 1998
Where have we gone, your people Oh Lord?
Where are we who will worship You and call on Your mercy? Where are we who will defend You words and spread Your love? Where are we who are worthy to praise and glorify Your name and ask for Your forgiveness? Where are we who will fall down before You and worship and adore You? Where are we who will sing Your praises, and serve You? Where are we who will be there when You come again in Your most wonderful Heavenly Glory?
We are here Oh Lord, your poor faithful remnant.
The Year of the Holy Spirit
We the members of the Holy Family Prayer Cenacle, through Gods great mercy and kindness make the following humble petitions:
Come Oh Holy spirit and awaken all Gods children with the fires of loving grace.
Awaken us to our Fathers infinite love, compassion and generosity. Allow us to see how wonderful, good and pure we can become through His Sons loving salvation.
Awaken us to the demands, desires and laws of our God and how if followed and obeyed would free this earth from disaster, and cause hope, and peace to blossom and flourish around the world.
Awaken us to the needs of our children who have been abandoned to the evil of this world. Without our children, and their pure and simple love for God, we surly have failed, for without love there is only darkness and suffering.
Awaken us to the cruel sin of abortion that condemns our nation and makes us unworthy of Gods blessings and brings down His angry wrath upon us all.
Awaken us who do not know the love of our Father and His Loving Son. Awaken us who know. But do not care, Awaken us who reject or blaspheme their names. Awaken us who are lukewarm and tepid in our faith.
Awaken us lost in sin, atheism, materialism and bound and tied by their secular ways. Let us see the error caused by our selfish craving for power, possessions and passions of the flesh.
Oh Holy Spirit it is only through your great love; that Love the Father has for the Son, and the Son for the Father, that this world could ever know the errors of our ways. In the fleeting months of 1998, the year of your most Living Loving Spirit, we repeat unceasingly the following Prayer requested by our Loving Mother:
Come O Holy Spirit. Come and change the face of the earth. Come quickly. Come in these last times. Come now that the great trial has arrived. Come and bring us your second Pentecost, so that our eyes may see your greatest miracle that of the new heavens and new earth:
Amen .
My thoughts as I received Holy Communion this day
August, 23rd. 1998
As I wait in line to receive You Oh Lord and Master, I know how unworthy I am. I am like a raw gem stone, full of hope but unfulfilled in my crude and hidden appearance. You see that hidden beauty deep in me, Oh Jesus and call on me to come to your most loving hands. Oh Jesus smooth out my tarnished soul, remove the deep cracks that render my heart as one who is dead in sin. Work and define all the facets given to me by Your Loving Father. Work me into a sparkling loving tool that reflects your great glory. Wrap me up in Your Loving Heart so that it will glitter with the radiant love of your most precious Sacred Heart. Oh My lord and Savior, I am so happy to be here with you this day. Bless this Church and all its members. Awaken them all to your loving mercy. Amen
The awakening
For Week of August 17, 1998
I have been asleep Oh my Father, but now I am awake
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day and all that it brings. Once dead in sin, I now reach out to you through your most wonderful Son Jesus Christ my Lord and Master. This day contains more than most men would see or know, for you are a loving God and deserving of all my attention, adoration and love.
This day awakened with Your love my Father, You have made it for all of us. First, I am Your creation. You made me out of love and gave me my soul which is a tiny loving spark of You Oh my Father. You placed me here on this earth to serve You and to know You as my Creator and God. You have given me many blessing, and have provided me with riches beyond all belief. You have given me my earthly body and provided me with all that it needs. My life is a miracle of your love as my heart beats, and as I breathe each breath. You have blessed me with my family, and the ability to love. Your concern for me has protected me even when I have rejected You. Your blessings covered me even when I walked in darkness and lived a life far away from You. Relentlessly You followed me, continuously blessing me and offering me Your love. Oh my God, how stupid and blind I have been Oh my Father, for only a fool could ever have done the things that I have done.
Oh Father My body and soul burns with a great awakening love for You, for deep in my clouded mind, comes the realization that You love me more than I could ever imagine or ever generate from my own small heart. That You have loved me from eternity, and that I am well blessed by Your great attention and infinite care.
Thank you Oh Father, for all your love. Please awaken all Your children through the Holy Spirit. May the Spirit of Your love flow out and change the face of the earth.
Amen
