This Prayer Given By Our Mother
Prayer given to Patricia Mundorf for all the world 4/15/98 from Mother
Dear Sweet Jesus, Please allow me your precious Graces, to become more obedient to You. So in doing so, O may I love and honor you with each breath that I take. Lead me to safety in all my trials and through the chastisement, which I know must come to me. Teach me your patience, Jesus, so I will remember that it is God’s will be done, not mine, in all matters of life and death. Let fire burn in my heart for your love which is so immense and forgiving. Have mercy on me now and forever more. Jesus I trust in your mercy, Jesus I trust in your love, Jesus I trust in you. Amen
The Consecration of All Suffering
Eternal Father, I offer You all the past, present and future suffering Of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, Hanging in constant agony on the Cross of the sins and indifferences of the world, In union with all the past, present and future suffering of All Your holy innocents, born and unborn, All Your martyrs, All Your saints, and All Your victim souls, In total, inseparable, co-sacrificial union With every single Holy Sacrifice of the Mass ever offered up to You Throughout the past, Throughout the present, and Throughout the future, In reparation and atonement for poor sinners everywhere: The unbelievers, The fallen away, and The lost souls who are about to die, Because they are our brothers and sisters, Made in Your Image, And we love them more than we love ourselves, Amen. (Joseph Hunt)
Basic Prayers
The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, The Son, And the Holy Spirit, Amen.
The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
The Gloria
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
The Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen.
Guardian Angel Prayer
Angel of God, my guardian dear, To whom God's love commits me here, Ever this day, be at my side, To light and guard, Rule and guide. Amen.
The Divine Praises
Blessed be God. Blessed be His Holy Name. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true Man. Blessed be the Name of Jesus. Blessed be His Most Sacred Heart. Blessed be His Most Precious Blood. Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete. Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most Holy. Blessed be her Holy and Immaculate Conception. Blessed be her Glorious Assumption. Blessed be the Name of Mary, Virgin and Mother. Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse. Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.
Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; I believe that your divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because you revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.
Act of Hope
O my God, relying on your infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of your grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
Act of Love
O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured. Amen
Act of Contrition
Act of Contrition O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend you, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen
Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
The Two Hearts
Act of Consecration to the Two Hearts O Sacred Heart of Jesus filled with infinite love broken by my ingratitude, pierced by my sins, yet loving me still, Accept the Consecration that I make to You, of all that I am and all that I have. Take every faculty of my soul and body. Draw me, day by day, nearer and neared to Your Sacred Heart, and then, as I can bear the lesson, teach me your Blessed ways. Amen Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and tender Mother of all people, I consecrate to You and Your Immaculate Heart, and recommend to you my family, my country, the whole human race. Please accept my consecration, dearest Mother, and use me as you wish,to accomplish your designs upon the world. O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of heaven and earth, rule over me, and teach me how to allow the Heart of Jesus to rule and triumph in me and around me, as it has ruled and triumphed in your Heart. Amen
Prayers to Our Lord
Daily Prayer To The Sacred Heart
Sacred Heart of Jesus, today I wish to live in You, in Your Grace, in which I desire at all costs to persevere. Keep me from sin and strengthen my will by helping me to keep watch over my senses, my imagination, and my heart. Help me to correct my faults which are the source of sin. I beg You to do this, O Jesus, through Mary, Your Immaculate Mother.
Soul of Christ (Anima Christi)
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O good Jesus, hear me. Within your wounds, hide me. Separated from you let me never be. From the malignant enemy, defend me. At the hour of death, call me. To come to you, bid me, That I may praise you in the company Of your Saints, for all eternity. Amen.
Exaltation of the Holy Cross Novena
Jesus, Who because of Your burning love for us willed to be crucified and to shed Your Most Precious Blood for the redemption and salvation of our souls, look down upon us and grant the petition we ask for ........ We trust completely in Your Mercy. Cleanse us from sin by Your Grace, sanctify our work, give us and all those who are dear to us our daily bread, lighten the burden of our sufferings, bless our families, and grant to the nations, so sorely afflicted, Your Peace, which is the only true peace, so that by obeying Your Commandments we may come at last to the Glory of Heaven.
Prayer to the Holy Face
O Blessed Face of my kind Savior, by the tender love and piercing sorrow of Our Lady as she beheld You in Your cruel Passion, grant us to share in this intense sorrow and love so as to fulfill the holy will of God to the utmost of our ability. Amen.

Marian Prayers and Devotions
The Angelus
V- The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. R- And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. (Hail Mary....)
V- Behold the handmaid of the Lord. R- Be it done unto me according to thy word. (Hail Mary....)
V- And the Word was made Flesh. R- And dwelt among us. (Hail Mary....)
V- Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. R- That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Regina Coeli To Be Said Instead of the Angelus During Paschal Season
Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia: For he whom you merited to bear, alleluia, Has risen, as he said, alleluia. Pray for us to God, alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia. R. Because the Lord is truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray. O God, who by the Resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, granted joy to the whole world: grant, we beg you, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, his Mother, we may lay hold of the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Magnificat
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; Because he has regarded the lowliness of his handmaid; for, behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name; And his mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel, his servant, mindful of his mercy -- Even as he spoke to our fathers -- to Abraham and to his posterity forever.
Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of they Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy clemency hear and answer me. Amen.
Mary, Mother of the Unborn
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much, I beg you to spare the life of the unborn child that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion. ( Fulton J. Sheen )
Letter from the Blessed Mother
(A letter written BY the Blessed Virgin Mary to the City of Messina where St. Paul, the Apostle preached the Gospel., which has been preserved in the Reliquary of the great altar.)
" I, Mary Virgin, servant of God, very humble Mother of Jesus Christ, Son of God, the Almighty and Eternal, to all who are in Messina, health and benediction in our Lord. You have learned by the ambassadors who have been sent to you. You received the Gospel and you acknowledged that the Son of God has become man, and has suffered the passion and death for the salvation of the world, and that He is Christ and also the true Messiah. I beseech you to persevere, promising to you, and all your posterity, to assist you in the presence of My Son."
(Great graces are given to those who carry a copy of this letter.)

Healing Prayer at Bedtime
Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, go back into my memory as I sleep. Every hurt that has been done to me, heal that hurt. Every hurt I have caused to someone, heal that hurt. But Jesus, if there is anything I need to do, if a person is still suffering from my wickedness, bring to my awareness that which I have hurt and need to remedy. I choose to forgive others and I ask to be forgiven. Remove whatever bitterness that remains in my heart, and fill it with Your everlasting love. Amen
Prayer to St. Joseph
Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in You all my interest and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by Your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from Your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. So that, having engaged here below Your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating You, and Jesus asleep in Your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near Your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls -- pray for me.
Evening Prayer:
O my God, at the end of this day I thank You most heartily for all the graces I have received from You. I am sorry that I have not made a better use of them. I am sorry for all the sins I have committed against You. Forgive me, O my God, and graciously protect me this night. Blessed Virgin Mary, my dear heavenly mother, take me under your protection. St. Joseph, my dear Guardian Angel, and all you saints of God, pray for me. Sweet Jesus, have pity on all poor sinners, and save them from hell. Have mercy on the suffering souls in purgatory... (followed by an Act of Contrition)
Extreme or Terminal Illness
Lord Jesus Christ, You choose to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. With this in mind I beg you to look with compassion on your humble servant -------, support them with your power, comfort them with your protection, and give them the strength needed to fight against evil. Since you have given ------, a share in your own passion, help them to find hope in suffering, for you Jesus.
A Prayer for the Dying
Most Merciful Jesus, lover of souls, I pray Thee, by the agony of Thy Most Sacred Heart and by the sorrows of Thine Immaculate Mother, to wash in Thy Most Precious Blood the sinners of the world who are now in their agony, and who will die today. Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have mercy on the dying. Amen.
Prayer of St. Gertrude the Great
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners every where, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Heroic Prayer to St. Michael
(As said nightly in bed by Sean Hunt, age 8, with his golden toy sword raised above his head. )
St. Michael the ARCHANGEL! DEFEND us in Battle! Be our defense against the WICKEDNESS and SNARES of the DEVIL, May God REBUKE him, we humbly pray! And DO thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts By the Power of GOD! CAST INTO HELL SATAN and all OTHER evil spirits Who prowl about the world, seeking the RUIN of souls, a-MEN!! Amen
Out of the Depths (De profundis)
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to my voice in supplication:
If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, Lord, who can stand? But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.
I trust in the Lord; my soul trusts in his word. My soul waits for the Lord, more than sentinels wait for the dawn. More than sentinels wait for the dawn, let Israel wait for the Lord;
For with the Lord is kindness and with him is plenteous redemption; And he will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
Hear us (Exaudi nos)
Hear us, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God; and graciously send your holy angel from heaven to watch over, to cherish, to protect, to abide with, and to defend all who dwell in this house. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Act of Resignation
God of Mercy , we willingly accept at your hands, with all its anxieties, pains, joys and sufferings, whatever you will for us today. We believe, we adore, we hope, we love and we trust that the will of God will be accomplished in us this day and that it is good and the best for us. All for the Glory of God and Mary, glorious Queen of Heaven and Earth. Amen. O Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner. O God, come to my assistance. Lord, make haste to help me this day and every day.
Baptism in Case of Necessity (Baltimore Catechism, No.3)
A non-baptized person can be baptized by anyone (regardless of faith or denomination) in case of necessity (e.g. in danger of death) where a priest cannot be found. The adult to be baptized must believe in Christ; he (she) must be truly sorrow for his (her) sins; he (she) must renounce the devil and all his works (i.e. all sin). The person who baptizes must have the use of reason, know how to give baptism, and intend to do what the Roman Catholic Church intends in the giving of the Sacrament. The person who baptizes should pour natural water on the head of the person to be baptized, and say, while pouring the water, "I baptize thee in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Note: the saying of these words must be exact, without adding or subtracting anything). If the person who was baptized by private baptism in case of necessity remains alive afterwards, he (she) should be brought to the Church for the completion of the ceremony of the solemn Baptism.
The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
Begin with: 'Our Father', 'The Hail Mary', 'the Apostles' Creed'. On the OUR FATHER BEADS say the following: Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Thy dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. On the HAIL MARY BEADS say the following: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the whole world. Repeat until all five decades are completed. In conclusion, recite the following three times: Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
How to Pray the Rosary
1.Make the Sign of the Cross and say the "Apostle's Creed."
2.Say the "Our Father."
3.Say three "Hail Marys."
4.Say the "Glory be to the Father."
5.Announce the First Mystery; then say the "Our Father."
6.Say ten "Hail Marys," while meditating on the Mystery.
7.Say the "Glory be to the Father."
8.Announce the Second Mystery; then say the "Our Father." Repeat 6 and 7 and continue with the Third, Fourth and Fifth Mysteries in the same manner. After the Rosary, the following prayer is commonly said:
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray. O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen. After each decade say the following prayer requested by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima: "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of your mercy."
As a rule the Joyful mysteries are said on Monday and Thursday, the Sorrowful on Tuesday and Friday, and the Glorious on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday (with this exception: Sundays of Christmas season - the Joyful; Sundays of Lent - Sorrowful)

My Rosary
My rosary is made of beads and chain that binds my soul to God. My rosary is a mystic vine that grows in Heavens sod. The Padres and the Glories are at the start and end, Just as God ever was, and will be to the end. The Aves form a rose bouquet, of white and red and gold, to strew along Our Lady’s way as each blest bead is told. The Mysteries are lessons learned of life’s true gain and loss, and always at the rosaries end, I find and kiss the Cross.
The Stations of the Cross
(The Stations, or Way of the Cross, are a method of meditating upon Christ's Suffering and Death. The meditations given here are according to the method of St Alphonsus de Liguori.)
It is customary before each station to pray:
We adore Thee, O Christ, and we praise Thee; Because by Thy Holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.
After each station, it is laudable to say:
1-Our Father, 1-Hail Mary, 1-Glory Be, and Have mercy on us, O Lord; have mercy on us.
I. Jesus is condemned to death. Pontius Pilate dares to condemn the all-holy Savior to death. No, not Pilate; but my sins have condemned Jesus to be crucified. O Jesus, have mercy on me and remember Thou didst choose to die that I may have eternal life. Let me so live that when I come to die I may find Thee a most merciful Judge, an all-loving Redeemer.
II. Jesus takes up His Cross. Most willingly Jesus accepts and patiently bears His Cross for my sake. Will I refuse to bear my cross for His sake? No, my loving Redeemer, I will no longer seek to evade my cross, but with the Help of Thy Grace I will bear it with Christian patience and resignation and follow Thee always.
III. Jesus falls the first time. Weakened by torments and by loss of blood, Jesus falls beneath His Cross. Alas! More truly was He crushed to earth by the number and enormity of my sins! Good Master, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee. I love Thee, infinite Goodness! Help me to hate sin as the only real evil.
IV. Jesus meets His sorrowful Mother. Jesus, the Man of Sorrows, meets Mary, the Queen of Martyrs. Oceans of grief deluge their Hearts as they face each other. They suffer thus for my sins. O Jesus, O Mary, bathe my sinful soul in a sea of true sorrow for my past offenses. In all temptation I will say: `Jesus, Mary, help me!'
V. Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the Cross. Although Jesus seems about to expire, He does not need -- yet accepts -- the help of Simon, since He wills to die on the Cross. Thus does He teach me charity and persever-ance. O Jesus, I too will carry my cross patiently to the end and strive to lighten the cross of my fellow-men.
VI. Veronica wipes the Face of Jesus. Jesus accepts and returns the towel to Veronica. Upon it is left the impress of His adorable Face. Alas! My sins have disfigured Thy holy Countenance. O Jesus, grant me efficacious sorrow that all sin may be erased from my soul and that Thy Grace and Thy divine Image may be stamped upon it forever.
VII. Jesus falls a second time. My feeble resolutions, my oft-repeated sins have crushed Jesus to earth a second time. Such is the malice of habitual sin. O Jesus, grant me true repentance. Let me die a thousand times rather than have the misfortune to fall again into mortal sin! Help me to hate all sin.
VIII. Jesus meet the Women of Jerusalem. The Savior teaches the women not to weep for Him, but for their own sins and the sins of their children. How generous is He! O Jesus, grant that I may understand the true meaning of Thy Passion and be so inflamed with love for Thee that I may shed tears of blood over my past transgressions.
IX. Jesus falls the third time. Consternation fills my soul when I behold the Savior fall a third time beneath the Cross. What is the cause? The incredible obstinacy of sinners who refuse to amend their lives. O Jesus, grant that I may be truly converted and suffer every evil rather than be numbered among such ungrateful sinners.
X. Jesus is stripped of His garments. What a pitiable spectacle is this shameful stripping of Jesus! Ghastly wounds are re-opened. Blood flows afresh. What shame would be mine if the veil were torn from my soul and the world saw my hidden sins! O Jesus, help me to know all my sins and confess them with deep sorrow and true humility.
XI. Jesus is nailed to the Cross. How can I behold the Savior shamefully nailed to the Cross and seek only comfort, wealth, and honors... and even indulge in unlawful pleasures? Jesus Crucified, help me to esteem and practice true Christian mortification that I may love only Thee and renounce the world, the flesh, and the Devil.
XII. Jesus dies on the Cross. Jesus, my God, dies on the Cross for me. I have done nothing for Him. I too must die! O my Crucified Savior, grant that I may so live in the future that I may have no cause to fear a sudden and unprovided death. Jesus, for Thee I live. Jesus, for Thee I die!
XIII. Jesus is taken down from the Cross. The lifeless Body of Jesus now rests in the arms of Mary. What anguish is hers as she thinks of the many souls for whom her Son shed His Precious Blood in vain! What joy to know that so many are redeemed! O my Savior, preserve me from Hell. O sweet Heart of Mary, be my salvation.
XIV. Jesus is laid in the tomb. Like Jesus, I too must lie in the grave. But Jesus rises in triumph on the third day. My buried Jesus, grant eternal rest to all who sleep in death. Have mercy on me and grant me the grace to rise to a new spiritual life, that dying to myself now, I may rise gloriously with Thee on the Last Day.
Having finished the Way of the Cross, it is commendable pray for our Holy Father, the Pope.
